Chris has been in the construction and real estate industry his whole life managing Commercial and luxury residential construction projects from $150k to $200 million. With 20 years of experience in the large commercial and luxury residential market, Chris understands client’s needs and the requirement to provide superior service. Customer service is what Chris prides his business on and Select Development Group is no exception.
Chris is an Ohio native where he began his commercial construction and development career working for an ERN top 200 company working his way up to project manager overseeing all aspects of multimillion dollar projects before heading to Southwest Florida to begin his own venture.
Chris & his wife Kristin are actively involved in the business, as well as caring for their family. They enjoy volunteering at church, traveling, and staying active in health and wellness.
Chris is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Construction Management and Business. Chris holds a Florida General Contractor’s License, Florida Real Estate License and a Florida CAM License.
John brings over two decades of retail development and customer experience expertise to Select Development Group. Most recently, he led the launch of a new product for Cecilian Partners, Inc. While working in the Prop-Tech industry, he developed relationships with property management, developers, builders, homebuyers, and project managers to deliver a memorable experience and exceed expectations. Previously, he led Tommy Bahama’s retaildivision, overseeing over $250MM in retail revenue and managing the transition between ecommerce, brick-and-mortar retail, and food and beverage.
John is an expert in lifestyle brand development, business operations, strategic communications, and managing teams and people. His greatest competency is understanding the importance of delivering a world-class experience that is memorable and everlasting for customers.
He joins Select Development Group as a Business Development Manager. John will be instrumental in bolstering Select Development Group’s portfolio both in residential and commercial construction, building Select Development Group’s brand and getting involved in the communities served.

Having collaborated with industry leaders such as Centex Homes, McCarthy Building Companies, Prestige Contractors, and Berg Electric, Ryan has successfully delivered complex commercial and residential projects with precision and innovation.

With extensive project management experience, Jeremy Horton brings a wealth of technical knowledge and leadership to every building project. He has worked with high-value commercial construction ventures valued between $25M and $100M throughout Texas to deliver exceptional results on time and within budget. His expertise spans diverse construction methodologies, including pier and beam, post-tension concrete slabs, tilt-wall construction, and metal building fabrication.
Jeremy successfully managed complex projects, including a Porsche/Mercedes car dealership with an integrated parking garage, Richardson Baylor Hospital, Dallas Theological Dormitories, and many non-profit organizations, specifically religious facilities. He has also served as an owner’s representative for significant construction projects, including the addition of a fourth floor to Richardson Medical Center and a 75,000SF church building, 45,000SF church building addition, and multiple remodels.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M University, Jeremy combines formal education with hands-on experience. Whether communicating weekly with owners, ensuring seamless communication between architects, engineers, and subcontractors, or managing project punch lists and closeout processes, he maintains the highest construction quality standards and workplace safety throughout every project.

Brian Mellon is a Superintendent at Select Development Group, with extensive experience overseeing high-end residential and commercial construction projects. His expertise includes site supervision, subcontractor coordination, schedule management, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards. Brian is dedicated to delivering exceptional craftsmanship while fostering clear communication between clients, project managers, and on-site teams. His proactive problem-solving skills and commitment to excellence help drive successful project outcomes.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys spending time with his family and creating lasting memories together. Whether it’s spending time on the boat with his family, or serving at church, he values balancing his career with family life.
